By tracking and reporting on entities’ progress in implementing our recommendations, we gather key information for parliament, our clients, and the community on the public sector’s commitment to performance improvement.
Each year, we ask entities to self-assess their progress in implementing the performance audit recommendations we have made in our reports to parliament. Our report on the status of Auditor-General’s recommendations brings together information and insights on this progress, and highlights common challenges and improvement opportunities. The 2024 report is our fourth.
